This Devil's Lair blend has a crisp, refreshing and generous palate, brimming with those tropical fruit flavours associated with sauvignon blanc, and hints of citrus nuances that semillon is known for. The Chardonnay flavours are swamped by the grassy herbaceous flavours which are followed by an unripe gooseberry background. A crisp, refreshing, and balanced wine, it's full of zesty, vivacious fruits with tropical notes of lychee and passionfruit, mingling with lemon tart and cut grass. Pan-fried scallops or grilled squid accompanied by a green salad tossed with chickpeas would be a great match.
