Tempranillo is a deep purple hued grape varietal originating from Spain, and The Barossa has a climate not unlike that of the Mediterranean from which it originates. With a bouquet full of dark chocolate, black cherry, and boysenberry aromas, with hints of white pepper and clove, the palate is medium to full bodied, with heaps of those same dark fruit and chocolate flavours, supported by lingering, fine-grained tannins. Great with Pizza, meat pastas and of course Tapas. Any tapas.
