This Brand's Laira from The Coonawarra is a classic cooler climate cabernet, with a powerful yet elegant structure. Scented ripe blackcurrant and plum aromas are intertwined with hints of liquorice, mint, bay leaf, and spicy cedary, and tobacco like characters, while the palate is fruit driven, of medium weight with an earthy, savoury quality, and loads of mulberry, cassis, plum, blackcurrant and violet.
