Warburn Estate produce fruit driven wines from the Riverina region of New South Wales, and this merlot, being a well rounded, soft, fruit filled merlot is no exception. With aromas of blackberries, blueberries, and an earthiness laden with hints of chocolate, cedar, spices and mint, the palate is wonderfully broad, with a complexity of fruit bound by velvety tannins. Flavours of blackberry, plum and figs, with hints of anise, and chocolate are supported by savoury oak nuances and smooth silky tannins, producing a well-rounded finish.
