Fowles Ladies Who Shoot Their Lunch Pinot Noir

Being a very well balanced pinot from The Strathbogie Ranges in Central Victoria, delicate aromas of red cherry, mulberry and strawberries, with hints of mint, and anise fill the glass, while the palate is fairly light in body with fine tannins adding structure to the finish. The mid-palate is quite complex comprising more of those elegant red cherry, strawberry and dusty cedar flavours, with earthy mushroom undertones adding to a long, savoury finish. Just the perfect wine for a confit of duck or grilled swordfish served with mashed potatoes in its own jus.
