This Bordeaux style wine from Pauletts out of The Clare Valley, is redolent of berries and plums, most notable through its attractive aromas, along with subtle French oak nuances of truffle and vanilla. The palate is medium bodied, fruit driven, and beautifully balanced with sweet cherry, plum, blackcurrant and liquorice. Smooth tannins and subtle oak ageing add to the structure with a well balanced acidity allowing for a long elegant finish. Enjoy with a Moroccan lamb stew or stronger soft cheeses.
