This is a classic French blend of mostly shiraz, with a small amount of viognier to lift the flavours of the shiraz, and this Yalumba Y-series blend hits the mark for the price. With an exotic mixture of aromas reminiscent of Turkish delight, blood plums, violet, blueberry and white pepper, the palate is medium to full bodied with flavours of dark cherry, boysenberry and spiced fruit cake.
