This Red Label Wolf Blass blend is value for money at under $12. The nose shows lifted varietal characters of blackcurrant and plum, which are balanced by hints of leafiness and subtle oak, while the palate is medium-bodied, soft with fine tannins, and a juicy mid-palate full of plum, cassis and blackberry. The wine finishes soft and long, and is an excellent accompaniment for a lamb roast, or Maroccan lamb tagine.
