Leconfield Chardonnay
Early ripening conditions in the Coonawarra region in 2018 produced concentrated fruit with fine acidity. With aromas of ripe peach, complexed with a nuttiness through yeast contact during barrel fermentation, the palate shows more of those stone fruit flavours. A very flavoursome and just delicious wine, this chardonnay has a persistence of depth, finishing with a tight, but soft acidity. Try this wine with chicken, seafood or light red meat dishes, such as a carpaccio of beef, or asparagus wrapped in Spanish Jamon Iberico.
