This is a lighter bodied wine from DeBortoli, where the grapes are coming out of the warmer climate of the Riverina. With subtle, floral aromatics of pear, lemon zest and a hint of herbs, a splash of riesling adds some lift to the palate, where crunchy citrus and pear flavours extend the aromatics. Try this wine with cooked seafood: grilled prawns, fish and chips, scallops, or roast vegetables namely pumpkin with goats cheese or a vegetarian pasta.
