d'Arenberg The Broken Fishplate Sauvignon Blanc

If there's one region in Australia producing sauvignon blancs that are a little more austere, with crisp acidity, great length and intensity, than those from across the ditch, it's the cool climate region of The Adelaide Hills. With intense, herbaceous aromas of lifted gooseberry, guava, lychee, kaffir lime, and freshly cut pineapple, wrapped around subtle hints of crushed lemongrass, and snow peas, the palate is driven by more of those tropical fruit flavours including lychees and passionfruit, highlighted by floral and grassy edges. The wine has a vibrant natural acidity, keeping all those heady flavours in balance, matched with a mineral finish. Served with spicy Indian and Thai cuisines.

Please note this wine is only available up to half dozen lots, or in a mixed dozen.
