Chateau Tahbilk Chardonnay
This chardonnay from the Nagambie region of Victoria has spent eight months on yeast lees in a mix of new and older french barrels contributing wholly to those lifted cinnamon/spice, and toasty oak notes displayed on a bright and textural nose. The palate of tropical fruit, melon and stone fruit characters add to this lively style, and that distinct acid line refreshes to an elegant and mouth-watering finish. Grilled swordfish, seafood stews or a roasted chicken with roasted winter vegetables await!
