This Woodstock shiraz is another fine, well structured, value-for-money wine coming out of The McLaren Vale. With aromas of liquorice, cassis, plum, blackberries, mint, subtle dark chocolate and vanillin confectionary, mocha, and spiced end notes, the palate develops those aromas resulting in a velvety, smooth, lingering finish underpinned by fine, plaint tannins. Try this wine with oven roasted lamb cutlets rubbed in dukkah and served over saffron rice, or Chinese five spice confit of duck leg served with Asian greens.
