This Lindeman's Bin 95 sauvignon blanc is reminiscent of the Marlborough whites with its crisp, almost off-dry finish. With all those tropical fruit aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit, gooseberry and guava, along with an underlying sense of citrus, the palate is lighter-bodied, with the sweetness of melon upfront, which combined with hints of white peach, spicy oak, and a balanced lemon acidity leads to a vibrant, refreshing finish. Perfect with most seafood, like crab cakes or shrimp scampi, it’s also a great accompaniment to grilled pork chops or baked chicken.
