So this is a great wine from Olsen for those allergic to SO2, and with a rating of 89 from the maestro, Halliday, it's a really fine wine. With aromas of cassis, blackcurrant, plum and just a hint of vanilla, this cabernet has a full flavoured palate, with more of those blackcurrant flavours, to compliment a balanced acidity and some vibrant nutmeg oak overtones. The soft tannins give this wine a lingering finish making it just the right accompaniment for a beef curry, or lasagna.
