Oxford Landing Estates Chardonnay

This medium bodied Oxford Landing chardonnay has a soft mouthfeel, defined by its tropical fruit and citrus flavours. The nose consists of aromas of fresh cut peach flesh, and nectarines, with accents of wild honey and lemon myrtle, supported by fig and cinnamon spice complexities, while the palate displays more stone fruit, along with melon and grapefruit flavours. The slightest hint of oak comes through as a hint of vanilla, highlighting the complexity derived from barrel maturation. The wine has a wonderfully even creamy mouthfeel on the palate, and with balanced acidity, offers a crisp, clean style with persistent and tantalising mineral acidity. Deliciously accompanies gnocchi with sautéed broad beans, feta, lemon and sage, a scallop and broad bean tart, or pork with fennel.
