The Pikes Riesling shows all the hallmarks of a Clare Valley riesling, with pristine aromas of lime, lemon and grapefruit dominating initially, allowing for some gentle floral notes to back up these citrus aromas. The palate is fresh, and crisp, finishing clean and dry with just a hint of textural grip. This wine will age beautifully with 5-7 years cellaring, but enjoy now with seafood or chicken, and is lovely with a gruyere cheese.
