From the Wairau Valley in the Marlborough region of The South Island, this Secret Stone chardonnay is full of beautiful peach and nectarine aromas, along with hints of cashews and a toasty oak complexity. A wonderful creamy mouth feel in the mid palate develops more of those striking stone fruit flavours in the front palate, with a balanced natural acidity contributing to a wine of great complexity and length. Well matched with pates, cheeses and even hearty soups.
