This is just a lovely, complex, well balanced wine, crafted from Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale free run Chardonnay grapes, giving you varied flavours as the wine moves through your palate. With aromas of stone fruit and nashi pear further accentuated with notes of candied lemon and roasted cashew, the medium to full bodied palate presents a fruit salad of pink grapefruit, crunchy apple, white peach, melon and fresh pineapple. The mineral acidity and fine-grained French oak elements add texture and enhance the pristine, lingering fruit finish, which has a creamy, cashew like complexity enhancing those pear and citrus flavours.
