Our only South African wine in the shop and it's a specialty: complex, and unoaked. With herbaceous aromas of fresh cut grass and lemon verbena,  this chenin blanc is intense, with a pulpy fruit, medium bodied palate, highlighted with flavours of quince, pear, white peach, and green apple, along with elegant mineral overtones. The finish is classic chenin: zippy, acidic and frisky, with an acid backbone, making this wine go with a dish that combine both sweetness and acidity, say Chinese sweet ‘n’ sour  pork, a Moroccan tagine or a creamy Indian curry.
