This Voyager Estate chardonnay is classically Margaret River, offering a wonderful purity of fruit, perfectly countered by a savoury, mineral edge. Grapefruit, citrus blossom, white nectarine, and dried pears dominate the nose, and along with delicate floral nuances, this wine has great depth and purity due to the use of French oak. A textural mid-palate with citrus fruits in the lime, lemon pith and grapefruit spectrum lead to a fine, balanced, mineral and savoury finish, that would be perfect with salmon, trout, or quail.
