This white is mostly chardonnay, blended with small amounts of sauvignon blanc, semillon, and roussane, producing a wine of fleshy consistency and generous length, complemented by a refreshing acidity. With aromas of pear, nectarine and melon characters, the palate is opulent with flavours of green apple, and citrus, sitting on a somewhat viscous mouthfeel, yet still producing a soft, dry finish. Memsie wines are great on their own, or with a variety of foods, so try this as an aperitif, or with a wide range of seafood, white meats, or oil-based pasta dishes.
