This Bordeaux style white blend from Yalumba of The Barossa Valley is a  full bodied crisp, dry finishing wine. Defined by the semillon, which imparts a rich middle palate and flavours of figs and melons with sherbet overtones, and the sauvignon blanc grape, which brings a crisp influence to the wine with tropical fruit, gunpowder and fresh grassy nuances, this particular blend shows citrus, gooseberry, and a touch of grass on the nose, along with hints of honeysuckle florals. The palate is lighter-bodied, soft and lemony, with a talcy texture, gentle acidity, and a smooth, bright finish. A wonderful fresh wine for current drinking, this wine will match well with fresh seafood, salads and Asian-style cuisine.
