This Yalumba Y-series pinot grigio is a light-bodied wine that's a great summer time drink, and true value for money. The nose is a little shrouded in flinty, savoury aromas, but evident below that, aromas of citrus, nashi pear, baked apple and orange blossom fill the glass, while hints of ginger spice and a touch of creaminess are also evident. The palate encapsulates juicy pear flavours, along with fresh apples, and feijoa, while on the mid-palate a crisp, mineral acidity extends those pear flavours, with hints of cinnamon, and oatmeal to round out a velvety finish.
