Pepperjack Cabernet Sauvignon

This Pepperjack cabernet sauvignon from Saltram Wine Estate represents good value for drinking now or cellaring for a future occasion. A typical cabernet varietal from The Barossa, with aromas of mocha, cassis, mint, ripe dark berry fruits, blackcurrants, plums and varietal leafy notes, the palate is full-bodied, with more of those plush dark fruits, an element of savouriness and hints of oak. The tannins are soft, with a slight chalkiness that gives generous length and balance while finishing rich and smooth. Enjoy this wine with mint or rosemary infused roast dishes.
