Fowles Ladies Who Shoot Their Lunch Shiraz

This is a real cracker of a wine from The Strathbogie Ranges, taking in the wider Heathcote Region of Victoria. Perfumed and highly aromatic, cracked pepper notes open play in the glass, supported by aromas of mulberry, violet, dark chocolate, and blackberry with hints of oaked spice. The palate is full-bodied with complex forest fruits, spice and velvety tannins leading to an elegant and long finish. Try this with a perfectly roasted venison, served with a creamy baked potato and celeriac.
