This Wolf Blass Red Label Bordeaux style semillon sauvignon blanc is a great food wine, with its crisp, clean finish. The bouquet is fresh and vibrant with notes of passionfruit, gooseberry, and citrus/lemon, while the fruit driven palate, with more of those tropical fruit flavours, is complemented by herbaceous notes, that meld into a finish full of flavour, depth and balance. A wine that has a pretty broad appeal, pairing well with rich fish and shellfish dishes, seafood risottos and pastas, and chicken, or pork dishes.
