The nose shows plenty of fruit aromas of blackberry, dark cherry and plum, mixing with nuances of liquorice, mint and chocolate, while the full bodied palate is dense, filled with juicy flavours of blood plums and cassis. Soft and velvety tannins, along with spicy cedar oak, fuse those fruit flavours to provide length and intensity to the wine, resulting a long structured finish. Try this wine with braised beef short ribs, garlic chicken wings with porcini mushrooms, or  roast lamb.
