Secret Stone Pinot Noir
Did someone say this wine is comparable to a young French Gevrey-Chambertin? This light to medium bodied pinot shows plenty of cherry, spiced plum, and fresh strawberry aromas, with hints of forest floor, while those savoury characters carry over to a velvety palate, with blackberry and dark cherry flavours complimenting lingering spicy mellow oak tannins, that along with hints of smoky cherry, lead to a soft, savoury finish. Pairs well with game such as venison and oily grilled fish like salmon and tuna.
