The 2018 Whitebox Heathcote Shiraz is deep purple-red in colour; highlighting all of the hallmarks of a great vintage from the region. This wine showcases both the distinct influences of the region and the vineyard's unique terroir. The nose shows an intense bouquet with aromas of red fruit, chocolate and leather. The palate is typical Whitebox; rich, intense, savoury and complex with flavours of plum, blackberry, vanilla and white pepper supported by French & American oak treatment, where that cedary oak rounds out the wine, leading to a balanced finish with soft tannins.
