With a bright appearance of light straw and a green tinge, this sauvignon blanc from Scotchmans Hill Winery on the Bellarine Peninsula near Geelong, displays a lifted bouquet fresh with guava, lychee, grapefruit and gooseberry notes. The palate is intense and lively with more of those tropical fruits flavours, adding to the gooseberry, with savoury notes on the mid palate. Tangy acidity rounds out the wine and gives a mouth watering finish.  Enjoy it with cheeses and shellfish.
