From One of Victoria's oldest Winery, this Yering Station chardonnay is top class. The grapes are hand picked and gently pressed, then barrel fermented to get a rich and creamy flavour. With a bouquet of floral notes, white peach, fresh spice and almond oak, the palate opens with more of those flesh stone fruits, then reveals vanillin oak and lees contact complexity with some hints of beeswax. It finishes crisp with an enticing citrus acidity. Serve with poultry, duck and cheeses.
